As you enter into the Mississauga Hockey League (MHL), there are a few differences you should be aware of. First of all there is a gate fee to enter all games from Minor Novice through to and including Juvenile. This gate fee applies to all parents and players. As always seniors and siblings under the age of 16 are free. This gate fee is charged by the MHL to cover the costs directly related to your games. This fee covers the cost of game ice, referees, timekeepers, ticket takers, insurance and administration. The Meadowvale Minor Hockey Association (MMHA) registration fee you paid goes directly to cover the costs related to Meadowvale. For an overview of those expenses covered at each age level please check the registration section of our website. Secondly, all games are scheduled by the MHL and are played weekly at 9 different arenas throughout the City of Mississauga. There are maps to all the arenas on the MHL website, or you can go to: http://www.arenamaps.com/arenas/Ontario.htm Lastly, the first 6 weeks of the season is a convening period during which players are assessed to ensure that teams are balanced and players are playing at their appropriate skill level. Thank you and enjoy your upcoming season!
