The Meadowvale Minor Hockey Association (MMHA) is one of the most recognized associations of minor hockey in the MHL. With three specific areas, Ice Puppies, House League and Rep, we are 1 of 6 associations within the Mississauga Hockey League (MHL) which is governed by the GTHL. A 40 year history has repeatedly proven our success from decade to decade. Now with this website we can reach more and more people across Mississauga, Ontario and Canada.
Our success is based on the support of our volunteers, our strong parent group and over 1,000 hockey players. As a non -profit organization we rely on sponsors, sponsorships, fundraising and the generosity of individuals to financially support our programs. The efforts of these individuals giving countless hours of energy and time collectively helps build a strong organization that in turn raises better citizens.
Our executive personnel have exceptional knowledge/skills and are very well equipped to guide, support and prepare young athletes. To be effective one must understand people, and our leaders are very well qualified and motivated to provide the best hockey experience available for our young aspiring athletes.
Our enriched hockey schedule, the dedicated coaches, the exceptional opportunities and the caring nurturing environment are components encompassing the Meadowvale player experience. We are fortunate to have superb coaches who understand and help sustain the Meadowvale reputation for excellence. It is the responsibility of every member to encourage and inspire players and provide immeasurable learning opportunities.
The mission of the MMHA is to “build the complete player and develop a well-rounded citizen”. We want our players to be here for 10+ years as we strive to ‘Build a Destination’ and become THE choice of minor hockey in Mississauga.
We have a committing to teaching players to:
- Love the game of hockey and have fun!!
- Be generous in winning and more importantly, graceful in losing
- Be fair and display sportsmanship both on and off the ice
- Be obedient to the rules and respect the officials
- Work for the good of the team and put the team first
- Conduct yourself with honor and dignity, representing MMHA
- Always strive to be the best you can be, and remember, it’s just a game!!!!
