After a long holiday break the hockey season is restarting Monday, January 31, 2022. Welcome back. As previously indicated, the Mississauga Hockey League is working hard to reschedule lost games due to the Government of Ontario pause. This includes scheduling games during March break and extending the season beyond its traditional completion date. Meadowvale Minor Hockey is purchasing additional practice ice through the end of March because of the season extension.
The protocols that were in place for arenas when the pause went into effect remain the same, city staff verifying vaccination status and covid questionnaire before entering the facility. Additionally, government capacity limits are being added for arenas (50%) and dressing rooms (7-10 players depending on the size of the dressing room). This is similar to the start of the season. Please come as fully dressed as it is safe to do so considering travel to and from the facility for practices and games. Maintain physical distancing and masking. It requested that only one parent or guardian accompany a player because of the capacity limits.
