House League Evaluations 2023-2024

  1.  All players should attend all evaluation sessions that apply to their age level (Sept. 16, 23, 24, 2023 8:30am -5pm). Players cannot enter the ice surface unless fully dressed in proper hockey gear.  Part of the required equipment includes a CSA approved helmet with full facial protection (cage/visor), neck guard and hockey pants (track pants are not permitted).    A complete list of the required gear can be found on the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) website at this URL  The website refers to knee pads, which are in actual fact shin pads.  Further, while it is not currently an MHL requirement to wear mouth guards, it is recommended that all players do so.
  2. Players should arrive at least 15 minutes before each evaluation session to allow time for registration, signing-in and for skate tying.  Due to limited changing room space, players are advised that arriving wearing most of their equipment (everything except skates) could prove beneficial.
  3. Evaluation times are divided into sub-sessions.  If your child’s session is to begin later than the start time noted above, you will be informed of the new, later start time.  If you do not receive a phone call, please arrive for the start time indicated.
  4. Players wear a previous years jersey or a jersey with YOUR NAME on it. Also ensure you bring a WATER BOTTLE with your name on it to rehydrate.
